Keep selection after split command

After Split command - all the parts loose the selection.
How can I keep all parts selection after the split command (in order to delete part of them) ?

Try _SelLast command right after split. Maybe that would help.

One other trick is to preselect the objects to split before running the command. The split parts will then stay selected afterwards. You can then ctrl+pick the parts you want to keep (deselecting them) and then hit the Delete button.
