Wish - solid split - exclude from selection

hi,

while solid splitting a solid, rhino allows us to select what we want to split, wouldn’t it be nice to exclude this solid from selection?

To deselect a previously selected object press the Ctrl key while clicking on the object.

Or do you want something else?

Hi Blastered - do you mean BooleanSplit? It should not allow the object to be split to be selected as the cutter, is that what you mean? But that does work to ‘mutually’ split two intersecting boxes, say… but perhaps I did not understand your question.

yes this is what i meant,

is there a way for me to disable this feature, because i generally work on one geometry and some of my cutters are very close to the main geometry as they may copy+pasted from earlier versions of it.
