Karamba 2.2.0.17 obsolete after update to Rhino 7.27

I’m getting error messages stating karamba components are obsolete since updating rhino and the components are missing in the ribbon menu. Uninstalling, searching for all karamba files and deleting and then reinstalling hasn’t helped. Does anyone have any suggestions? Really need to get this working again.

Cheers

Hi, what is the error message that you are receiving?

Hi! Thanks for getting in touch. Here’s the error message as .txt. It’s rather long.

GH_Load_Ex.txt (95.9 KB)

Hi, did you also try using the package manager to install Karamba?

Yes, I tried package manager, the .msi and also version 3 with no luck.

that is strange. I just did an update to SR 27 with Karamba3D 3.0.0.4 and there are no issues whatsoever.

There is something wrong with the installation. Try to uninstall it once more. See if karamba.dll is still located on your computer in any location and delete it and then reinstall it.

I did this but got the same problem again. Very strange. Should I somehow downgrade Rhino?
Here’s the error file from the latest run

Problem solved. It was not the Rhino update that was causing the problem but an outdated libiomp5md.dll that came with an installation of Autodesk Monolith. There were some clues to this on this page: 4.1.4: Runtime Errors - Karamba3D 2.2.0

that is great, we will make sure to note this.
