Hi, I’m looking for some ideas on how to speed up/improve the workflow for modeling beveled letters. I work for a Sign making company and we need tidy, simple models that can be unrolled for cutting out of Stainless steel on the laser and then build-up by hand. These types of bevels need to meet in the middle and not just have chamfered edges. No. As was said, you typically do this “by hand”. As Laurent wrote, there are Grasshopper definitions that can help.

Here’s another approach:

Oh I see your link to it now… I created that definition with Anemone. Yes, sure it slows things down but depending on the requirements, this can still be an option. I’ve used it for CNC simulation a few times. I just recently played around trying to create the loop with python instead of Anemone.
