For anyone interested in the topic this page (by Dr Alan Thompson) came to my attention today and it has a lot of information about the AI progress collected in one space. You can easily go down a rabbit hole.
The thing is: Is AI being hyped up to game and monetize people’s anxiety ? Alan is obviously selling something. Is there signal to the noise ?
In my experience Chat-GPT4 and Claude Opus, although fluent, they still make logical errors in their arguments. So this intangible reasoning ability is not quite captured in the tests.
There is clearly a discrepancy in what they think these models can and will do in theory, and how they help in practice.
There are revolutionary and powerful use-cases for these technologies, but I think we are still far away from replacing human intelligence. It will rather affect how we work.
Of course its all about selling something, and they do it quite with success, but its going to be the same bubble we saw with other technologies.
One great example is social media. It clearly affected our social life, but honestly I believe they did not improve our social life. It rather achieved the opposite.

What you need is an AI API that can read all components and understand how they are connected in the Grasshopper canvas. This AI should be able to understand the script and then assist in improving it. Later, it should be capable of creating an entire script independently.
ChatGPT & Bing Chat are my most used Tool to create Grasshopper Stuff or find onle the Component Names. Also for ghpython Code its usefull.
