iRhino mesh size

Hello, I tested iRhino object scan today. Tried searching for documentation or a user guide and did not find anything. I am scanning with an iPhone 15 and the latest iRhino version. Is it possible to change the mesh size, ie add more detail, to the scan. The app shows the possibilities of 300 images but the most I have ever taken was 120. I make three full circles around my object. I have taken images trying to hold the camera steady as well as moving the camera around to get as many angles as possible while circling the object. Is this the best I should hope for at this time, or what can I do to improve the model? The rendered view is impressive, but I am looking for smaller mesh for the scanning if possible.

Thank you

Hi Kevin,

We’re using Apple’s Object Capture API for this and we have limited control over the quality of results.
On iOS the only available detail level that this library allows is .reduced

We think this is something that may improve with future releases of iOS/iPhone.
In the meantime @Gijs has experimented and found out that doing partial scans of the same object gives you higher density. You can then merge those partial scans together in iRhino with shrinkwrap

Thank you Morteza
