Insert block - name update issue

When a block is inserted into Rhino as a linked reference, it gets its name from the file name.

If the file name changes for whatever reason, the block name is not updated. The same thing happens when the block is replaced by selecting a new file through the folder icon next to the file name in the block manager. The name in the block manager does not update.

I think it should update.

Thank you for your report, I’m seeing this issue as well, and I have logged it to our development engineers.

Not everyone will always want the block reference name auto updated, so an update feature should be an option.
