On my 2017 13" MBP I had some different problems with display. These were happily and surprisingly sorted when I updated to Mojave using the “Light mode” settings.
It might be worth trying for you.
Can you do me a favor and update to the latest RhinoWIP and run the SystemInfo command and paste back in the results? (We’ve improved that command since your last report).
