When using Grasshopper through Rhino.Inside, I can reference and bake elements from my main Revit model into Rhino, and they align correctly with my Revit internal coordinate system. However, when I reference elements from a linked Revit file and bake them, the geometry ends up in a different location, not matching the internal coordinate system of my main Revit model. How can I fix this so that elements from both the main and linked Revit files bake consistently in the same place?
All the Revit links and my main model share the same coordinate system.
In the image below, A is the previewed location of the graphical element which is referencing a linked element, and this is in the correct location. When baked, it jumps to B, which is incorrect.
Awesome! This works. Although taking the graphical element through element geometry capsule strips off the Revit attributes which i would like to keep. When you bake directly from graphical element, it bakes in Revit’s layer mapping as well materials which I want to keep. When you bake geoemetry from the element gemetry capsule it just bakes the nurbs/mesh to the current layer with no attributes.
