Import SketchUp texture Missing

Hi all,
This issue occurred many times. When importing a SketchUp model into rhino, the textures missing.
Though I am sure I have check the “Use the SketchUp Texture Writer to create textures” option…
Even if I have down grade the SKP. file version the problem still exist.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Jack -

I don’t have SketchUp - could you provide a skp file with just a cube with a texture?

It used to be the case where nested groups/blocks in SKP would not come into Rhino with correct materials. You would need to explode them in SKP first. It has been fixed recently, but I am not sure if it is already in the latest Service Release.
If the objects that lose materials are Groups in SKP, try exploding them first and see if that helps.
A sample file would be helpful, too.
