Is there a way to import materials from one rhino file to another?

Hi Dennis - no, not directly that I know of - you can export any part - even just a line or point from the source file and import the results into the target file, as a sort of workaround. That will bring in all the materials. Or, copy paste specific objects that have the material you want also ‘works’.
