Import dwg without data loss - to the same level as Rhino's importer

Has there been any work done on dwg file imports via Grasshopper to the same level of detail as native Rhino importer? While it works great it lacks some flexibilty (partial imports, preserving edits on objects)

Also looking for the same thing, Import 3DM works but doesn’t include text objects.
