I’m getting extra lines added when I go to technical view. They don’t exist in wireframe or ghosted, and there is no reason I know of for them to exist when it comes to hidden lines. In the images below they’re the little angle lines that are at about 45 degrees. They’re a drag as I’m trying to hand these out to students and don’t want to confuse them needlessly.
nothing that i can see here, maybe it got lost while you exported the file? some lonely surface? i also dont quite get what you mean maybe, i see a 45° angled edge in your last picture here but the two first images dont exhibit anything unusual.
The first two photos are to illustrate that the line does not exist in wireframe or ghosted views. The third and fourth show it in the technical view. I did not do a good job of explaining that.
If you look from the front instead of the side in the technical view you should see the angled line.
edit: one last thought, it might be possible that your render mesh setting might be causing some artefacts, though that is pretty speculative. i may have a different setting explaining why it would not show here.
aside from this you might have to fix this area still
Thanks for picking up on that issue with the groove. I re-did the dovetails and back at one point and that groove should go all the way to the rear of the cabinet. I don’t think it affects the issue I’m having though
I have de-selected, “show intersections,” in the settings of Display Modes > Technical. That seems to have solved it on my screen, though the last time I tried that it really messed up the printed page. Unfortunately I won’t be able to test it out for several days
