iMac freezes completely after using Rhino3d for Mac for more than one hour

It seems that my iMac (21inch, late 2015, macOS Catalina v10.15.4) will freeze completely after I use Rhino3d v6 for Mac for more than one hour.

This has happened for more than one time, and I don’t want to open Rhino any more.

Has anybody else experienced similar OS freezing issue?

Can the Rhino development team advise how to solve this problem if it has been reported by other users, too?

Thanks.

can you post your system info: https://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/6mac/help/en-us/commands/systeminfo.htm

Thanks, @KeithR .

@John_Brock

No idea.
Hopefully someone else will have an idea.

I do know we are seeing issues with the older Intel 6000, and 6100 under powered graphics chips. I have not heard specifically if this is a problem with the 6200s or not.
It just means it’s not a good graphics chip choice for running Rhino.

Thank you, @John_Brock and @KeithR.

No worry. For the time being I’ll use Rhino on a different computer until I can get an iMac with better graphic card.
