I need help with this message I keep receiving

I have used blender to import a google maps view of the site but now whenever I try to save my work this message pops up. Does anyone know how I can solve this ?

Hmm try saving without including textures?

Does that folder actually exist?

Run SystrmInfo and post the results…

No I’ve just checked and that folder doesn’t even exist. And although I can’t save my work manually it does automatically save it still.

Run the Rhino command SystemInfo and post the results here.

Uh just copy and paste the text, you left out the most important stuff.

Hi Josh,

Looks to me like you have one or more materials in your model that reference files in that location. Open the Materials tab and select each material in turn, looking for references to files, like this:

When you find a file, click on it and you will get a dialog with the full path - if that matches the path in the error message you will need to reinstate the incomplete/missing material, change the path to a valid one, or change the reference in your model to a different material.

I’d start with any materials applied to the imported map as that appears to have triggered the problem.

I can’t be very specific, as I’m on Windows and you are on Mac, and I believe the paths differ between platforms. But I expect to see a Textures folder somewhere in the Rhino setup, so it may be you have inadvertently moved or deleted it.

HTH
Jeremy
