I’ve created a cylinder and a hyperbolic paraboloid. I want to cut the outer surface. How can I do that correctly? When I used a circle and the “surface split” the shape didn’t appear when viewed from above, instead, it looked more rectangular
I have version with a circle projected on the brep, but the question is still how to divide this surface

it is hard to say without script but split surely generates 2 outputs here. So you’ll have to choose the one you want to keep.
