I have an object with wood grain sitting on a wooden ground plain. The grains lined up so I rotated the object as the aligned grain didn’t look right. Once I rotated the object, the grain changed direction. How do I lock the material orientation to the object.
You are probably using WCS mapping in the texture, this needs to be changed to mapping channel, then you need to add a box mapping to your object.
Thanks Jester, how do I change that as it is a default Rhino Material
Drill into the texture for the material and change the mapping to Mapping Channel, then with the object selected open the object properties panel, and from that the texture mapping sub panel. Add a box mapping such that the box you draw encloses the object. Say Yes to Capped.
