I have the same question, but mainly to archive the toolbars at this point. I just finished rebuilding my WIP toolbars with .svg format icons and I’d like to archive this so I don’t lose it. What’s the best way to do that?

Thanks,

Dan

I’ve been trying to piece together the various discussions about the WIP UI to come up with my own answer to this question, but it’s pretty confusing right now.

So I will ask again: What is the best way to archive (and later distribute) my custom toolbar?

Thanks,

Dan

hi Dan,

I just tested making a new toolbar (Container?), and I added a few commands/buttons to it.

It looks like this:

Then using the gear icon I went to export it:

And It’s here file called gf_container_01_230616.rhc (inside .zip file):
gf_container_01_230616.zip (11.0 KB)

Can you see it? import it?

G

PS: McNeel team, Discourse does not let me upload .rhc files. This should be fixed.

Hi Gustavo,

I was able to import it using this icon:

I’m going to mess around more with this on Monday.

Thanks,

Dan

Thanks, Gustavo. Those should be allowed now.

I am wondering if there is a way to add toolbars via C# ?
