How to remove the seam on the surface created by circles?

hi all

how to remove the seam on the surface created by circles? i found the circles in rhino are not really “looped”, which creates a seam when extruded or lofted.

It,s the start and end of the curve definition (in this case a circle) and has to be somwhere.

You can make it invisible by adjusting surface edge setting to 0 for that display mode, but there’s no getting rid of it.

Hello - closed surfaces always have a seam, with surfaces - you can hide it at best, but it is always there someplace.

You won’t see it in rendered output or in some display modes (e.g. pen, artistic, technical, arctic, rendered and raytraced) when they are set up with their default settings.

thanks for all the replies. ladybug will render it as a broken geometry. that’s why i want to “close the ends”

You should use meshes for ladybug anyway. Make that shape as a mesh and you will be seamless (if you don’t count mesh edges as seams).
