How to place one surface's edge to another surface's edge

Hi,

I want to place the surface edge(RED) to another surface edge (BLUE) which you can see in the attached image. Red line is sea border and blue line is coastline.
Is there any other way for me to close that open area?

Try MatchSrf… there are options to match along the whole edge or not and also for continuity.

Hello - can you export the two surfaces to a new file and post them or send to tech@mcneel.com?

thanks,
-Pascal

Hi Brian,

I had to act fast that day so I struggled a bit but I knew there was a command to ease the case. I mixed the two lines and formed a brand new closed curve. Then I patched and fortunately managed to do it.

Thank you very much for your support.

Hello,

I sent an e-mail to you and will post it here too. Although I managed, I would appreciate if you have any other solutions for an alternative. MatchSrf is straight to the point but I did not understand why it did not work on my model.

Thank you,
Nadir

Here is the model. Place-Srf-to-Srf.3dm (5.2 MB)

Looks like you were trying to match trimmed edges. MatchSrf only modifies untrimmed edges.
