Hi everyone! I stumbled a project that needs to model a concept very similar to this image:
I’m trying to think of process but can’t get my head how even begin or if Rhino is the right tool to do something like this (I also have 3ds Max). I appreciate your feedback.
Stay safe, Thanks!
moved to Rhino for Windows category

Hello - this looks like a good candidate for the subD modeling tools in the V7/WIP -
Accurate, organic modeling just got easier. Subdivision surface objects (SubD) open up many new workflows:
Push and pull to explore complex, free-form shapes in real-time.
SubD objects are highly accurate and can be converted directly to manufacturable solids.
Convert scan or mesh data into SubD objects, then optionally to NURBS.

Next Steps:
Download Rhino 7 WIP for [windows8logo] Windows or [finderLogo] Mac
Watch a video from our tutorials on the SubD modelin…
You could certainly do it with surfaces but to do it cleanly would be a job.

Thanks, looking forward to V7 as you mentioned. cheers!
