How to make surface update when control points on curve are moved

Following along with this rhino jewelry tutorial (Designing Jewelry for Manufacturing with Rhino 6 – Webinar - YouTube), at 32 minutes, Gary moves the top 3 control point from the rail that was used. His surface adjusts based on him moving the 3 control points on the curve. When I do this, only my curve moves, but the surface remains the original shape. How do I have my surface follow the change of the curve that was originally used as the rail? Thanks.

Hi Becky -

Note that, at 31:39, Gary says he has history on. You need to start recording history before sweeping.
