How to import to layers instead of blocks?

You can also try the following script:
LayersToBlocks.py (616 Bytes)

Gets all objects on each layer and creates a block, deletes the objects and inserts the block instance on same layer. Ignores locked or off layers. All block origins are world 0.

but it “flatten” layer structure to the first level.
Do you think you’ll be able to publish your script/plugin sometime?

As told above I think it could be very useful to export Rhino files to solid modelers without losing layers (which are NOT supported by most modelers)
