How to Import Georeferenced file (tif) into original position and scale?

Hello everyone,

I have drone scan data with a georeferenced TIF files and wondering how to import to its original coordinates with 1:1 scale?
( like Mapiinsert comment in Autocad )

Any suggestions ?

Chances are that you don’t really want to do that because your objects will be very far from the Rhino world origin and you’ll be running into limitations in how numbers are treated on computers.
You could set your Earth anchor to the Rhino world origin and use @Brian_Washburn’s Heron plug-in to import the geoTIF.

So if I use Heron to adjust world origin, how can I import the TIF file into my workspace? Is it through this plugin?

Yes, you can both set the Earth anchor point and import the TIF with that plug-in.
