How to implement wind forces in karamba on a structure?

Hi there,

I have a question. I am trying to get the windforces on a structure with windbraces, but I can’t find a setting to make the braces take all the wind forces from a certain area. Now if I use a uniform load on the columns, karamba thinks the columns are taking the forces and not the braces, which is not the way the structure will behave and work. Is there a easy way/setup to get windforces on a structure? For example a little rectangular structure like a box.

Hi, for this you should use the mesh load and generate a mesh for your “wall” and then apply the loads to your entire structure. Please see 3.2.1: General Loads - Karamba3D 2.2.0 for examples and a description on this component.
