How to get the edges back around toolbars?

I didn’t find a setting for this, so I’m wondering if it’s buried in the advanced settings somewhere.

Yeah, I have the same thing going on with my docked toolbar/panel (custom+osnap) at the lower edge:

No separation between the toolbar background and the status bar.

Yup, same problem here:

I suppose the overarching issue is that there really aren’t toolbar/panel borders anymore with the new UI design. Just “content/frame/tab” background colors that generate visual separation. See this related issue:

Hi McNeel, The border around the toolbars/panels in Rhino 8 are much thicker than in Rhino 7. I’m not sure if that should be considered a regression, but I certainly prefer the thinner borders in Rhino 7. I looked through the advanced settings, but didn’t find any values for customising these. Agreed. I tried to bring this up a few weeks back:

Here’s an example to illustrate the punishment replete in the R8 panel logic and implementation as I complained about in #2 above. I wanted to find more “panels” to explore, so I right click on some gray blank area on the Layers “container” expecting a dropdown. No response.
