export to zbrush so that the world axis is correct
I export the file to zbrush using OBJ … but when I receive it on zbrush it is not in the position I created
on zbrush it recognizes the Top face … although the human icon on the right of the screen is the Front face on zbrush
Since you’re using Rhino 5, you’ll want to select the Map Rhino Z to OBJ Y option on the OBJ export dialog.

oh man… thank you so much
it worked
As for the STL file… when exporting to zbrush, do we need to change anything?
can you guide me how to export the file most effectively in OBJ and STL fiel
thank you
STL doesn’t have a remap option so you can just rotate your ring in Rhino laying down. Point the center gem towards the +Y direction in the side view. Export with smooth settings, something like max distance edge to surface at around .002. Then Dynamesh it once the file is in ZBrush.
