How to define more stable model in Karamba3D

Hi,

I have a curved beam fixed on 5 supports.

4 of 5 supports have displacements and rotations, and when Karamba runs the analysis, it has difficulty finding stability. I have to reset the Analysis component several times until stability is achieved.

Is there an option that prevents this behavior? I mean, for one beam it is not a problem, but if there are dozens of similar beams, Karamba is not able to find stability for multiple of them

Hi, which version of Karamba are you using?

I am working with 3.1 and these issues might have been solved in the latest updates.

Hi Matthew,

I am using the 3.1.60309 version

Just to explain it a bit more, I am also able to get it to work, it’s just that I need to disable/enable the Analysis component several times until I get some meaningful results

Hi @Faruk_100,

thanks for the bug report! I tested your definition with Karamba3D 3.1.60309 and RH8. There seems to be a problem with the prescribed displacement load which on my machine results in a wrong result after every 20th recomputation or so.
I opened an issue here.
I will try to fix this.
