Is there any way to define an custom annotation such as elevation annotation to display point Z values？

You can do something like this in the Rhino 8 WIP [image] Works with Groups as well, but not Blocks. [image] If you are in Rhino 7 and have a lot of points to annotate a grasshopper solution is available there as well.

It is also possible to do this with a Text Field (“point coordinates - z”). [image] BUT you cannot simply copy the point plus it’s text, because the GUID in the text field is hardwired to the original point. Yes, you can Grasshopper this, but you need to bake if you want to print, right? This me…

Quick test with TestMatchAnnotationFields: It works, but it duplicates the text object, and with a different scaling, too. [image] And it’s a rather clickhappy thing to do…
