How to change top, front and side view relative to cplane

When I use the “cplane” to change the construction plane is it possible to also change the top, front and side views making them relative to the new construction plane?

The closest thing workaround I have is to use “plan” right after the cplane command which effectively give me a top view. But then I loose the perspective view and still doesn’t solve the updated side and front views.

Ideally I would like to change the cplane in my perspective view and then have the top, front and side views update relative to this new cplane while keeping the perspective view intact. I have seem gemivision matrix do this so wondering how this can be achieved using native rhino commands or does it need custom scripting?

Hello - check the ‘Universal CPlanes’ setting in Options > Modeling aids page.

-Pascal

Perfect. Is there a way to invoke this as a command or through API/programmatically?

If you are using RhinoCommon, use the ModelAidSettings.UniversalConstructionPlaneMode property.
