How does Rhino 6 upgrade work?

Hi,

I just submitted an upgrade from Rhino 5 Edu to Rhino 6 Edu. During that process i have submitted proof of student status, but it never asked for my Rhino 5 license code. As i understand when you upgrade you still use the same license from before, so how do I link Rhino 6 upgrade to my Rhino 5 Edu licence? My concern is that if i uninstall Rhino 5, and install Rhino 6 fresh, it won’t remember my licence from before.

Any help will be appreciated.

You will need your V5 key to install V6.

The KEY is what you have to make sure you don’t lose, not the installation.
