How do I use the camera to take a picture of my model? I want to use to render a perspective view of my building

I know how to create a model from scratch on rhino BUT I am struggling to take an inside picture of my model for a perspective drawing.

**I specifically need help to take a picture = in order to render out that screen shot into a perspective drawing.

IF* there is a better method to render, I would appreciate any help. I do not have a lot of time; so, shortcuts would help.

Hello - I am not sure I follow - are you trying to set up the view or create an image once the view is the way you like it?

Both

  1. I don’t know how to set up my camera in rhino. If you could explain that or link me to something that does it would be helpful.
  2. And I would like to take a “snap shot” of the view in high quality. I’m used to taking screen shots of my screen, but it does not create good quality shots.

You can use ViewCaptureToFile, ViewCaptureToClipboard, or Render commands at higher than screen resolutions.

Hello - well all the view manipulation tools will help get the view you want.
https://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/7/help/en-us/index.htm#seealso/sak_navigate.htm?

In addition, you can save a NamedView and then turn on the camera ‘widget’ for that and its control points (F10) key to manipulate the camera.
