I want to build a point attractor so that the thickness of the pipes are changing, does anyone knows how to do this?
Hello
you can use Variable Pipe, see an example here
or you can do your own plugin to better suit what you need.
Thanks a lot
how would you do this on my geometry I’m not sure how to do this

I think you must first work on curves and make that
Then try, experiment. There are other threads on the subject
Hey, thank you so much, I really appreciate your time.
I joined the curves and then did the same like in the link you sent me.
I am not quite sure what I did wrong at this time, make you know?
Hello
you still have some tricks to learn.
The idea is to provide to the variable pipe the parameter of the point of curve. By parameter it is at the end points on the curve. So I used a Divide Curve to get points (for attractor) and parameter (for variable pipe). The the classical measurement between points and the attractor (a curve for you, but you never said if it was point, points, curve, curves, details matter)

Thank you so much, that’s exactly what I was looking for !
Hi Laurent,
I am trying to learn how to create a variable pipe thickness depending on the Z axis. I have managed to create something similar to what I want that works for the rings but any curves that go up and back down on the Z axis the thickness does not change.
Any tips for how to achieve this would be much appreciated.
