How can I trim or split this overlapping self intersecting surface?

How can I trim or split this overlapping self intersecting surface? Is it possible to extract a curve or create another surface in order to trim off the overlapping surfaces on the interior of the form?

Hello- these can be a nuisance - I’d do this:

  1. Extract that surface
  2. UntrimAll
  3. Split > Isocurve with the Int Osnap on and find the Int right here:

  1. ShrinkTrimmedSrf.
    5.Intersect - that will get you some curves

Trim the overlapping bits off
