How can I save in IFC4 format?

Hi,

When I export visualarq objects in VA3 and put IFC option, it only give me the ifc 2x3 option. Am I missing something?

Hi @Leo13 the option to export to IFC 4 is not yet available in the first release of VisualARQ 3. We will release a new update in a few weeks with that option included.

Hi @bbmrongen we plan to support the IFC 4 export in the 3.4 update version, expected in a couple of months. I’ll keep you posted.

Hi,

STill can’t export IFC in va 3.8… Needed that this morning at the office but apprently there is no IFC 4 option.

Is that normal ?

Hi @raoufdjema15 we are currently working on that. The export to IFC 4 is expected in the next update. I’ll keep you posted.

Okay thnaks, if other people need a solution :

  • Export ifc 2x3 using va
  • Upgrade to IFC 4 using blender bonsai
