How can I make this shape?

Hi there! Sorry for the lack of better words / illustration but I would like to make a shape like the one I drew below. What’s the best way to do so?

For more context, I basically am working on a architectural project at school and have made a building like the one below. At the moment, each slab is a simply extruded circle but I would like to change its shapes to a circle that’s kind of inflated like illustrated above.

The Loose option in the Loft command can be used to geed effect for this shape too.
