I’m doing a simple test trying to modify a floor profile (native floor element in revit) but I’m getting this error
The same geometry works fine for a Floor made using AddFloor so I’m currently replacing the native floors (not the best thing to do, I guess…), is there a way to avoid it?

Massimiliano, Can you post your Curve and what version of Revit & RiR you are working in? This info can be found in the More>About tab in the RiR Ribbon.
I’m not getting an error even though the Graphical element was created via UI and has a Span Direction.

I’m able to repeat this in 1.9.x & 1.10.x, can you move up to 1.11 at this time?

Are you using a default floor type? what units is the Revit? Thanks
I’m using standard structural floor types (ie: Generic 300mm)
the thing is that the component works fine if I make the floor using AddFloor (same family, units, and profiles). It just “want” the span direction.

I didn’t get any solutions yet by my side. I’ve noticed that the compenent should run correctly if the floors are made using RIR. I guess that it depends really on how revit is structured within its API.
Turn around>>>I’d suggest to re-make the floors using the AddFloor component (hope that they don’t contains too many infos/parameters to rebuild), and then run the modify Host Profile component.

All walls and columns have their top and bottom attached to the floors. Re-making the floors with Add Floor will lose all those.
I’m wondering if we can reassign span direction to those floors.
