Holy cow display speedup

I haven’t really been working on anything big enough lately to notice the display improvements in V6, but I have some imported assemblies to clean up for rendering, with 12500 part blocks and 12 million polygons with the crudest mesh settings possible, and the speed difference is fantastic, the difference between not sure how I was going to do this and no big deal. (On a 1080ti, mind, but still, thanks a lot!)

That’s great to hear. Thanks for letting us know.

Not to beat a dead horse but I’m still having to use V5 to render in iRay and I don’t recall when V5 became so unusably slow, like it’s a serious problem for getting my work done.

We grow accustomed to better performance quite easily.
I think they call it becoming velocitized.

Eh, it’s not so much that as there’s something horribly wrong with my model or with iRay causing extreme slowdowns.

To continue the praise:
I just downloaded the Stanford University “Lucy” Angel 3D model and that is a 28 Million polygon model that the laptop manages to handle on a GTX 750m card.
