[yc] Will the function of hiding subdivision faces be added in V8

was looking for this exact function today, would be handy, also adding a lock function to subd selection set would be useful too.

@theoutside this means _hide / _show know supports SubD Face ? will it support all kinds of Sub-Objects ? Curve Segements ? Polysurface-Faces ? Sorry to be late to the party - but i think it would be nicer to have Per Face Color support Alpha / semi-Transparent or have a support of Per-Sub-Object…

if you select the faces they hide but the wires stay visible. [image] if you select the faces and the edges, they all hide. [image] you can also hide just the edges. [image] as well as hiding points- [image] this may be useful in combination with selection sets for iterative modeling.

This function is ready to use. After selecting the face, hide it together with the face, and it should display the interior instead of perspective [123]
