Heteroptera Overlay component breaks with specific 3dm file

hi there,

I ran into an issue with the overlay component from Heteroptera when opening a specific Rhino file.

simple gh setup

Expected output with an empty 3dm file

opening the following 3dm and recomputing GH will result in this:
het_overlay_issue.3dm (41.6 KB)

It will stay like that until a restart of Rhino.

For now I can work around that by working in a new file, but would like to understand why something like this can happen as it is super annoying when first running into it and trying to debug GH, while it’s a bug somewhere else…

it seems to be a bug. Report it on Food4Rhino, I don’t know if Amin Bahrami has an account here.

But it easy to do it in Grasshopper

Thanks @laurent_delrieu , that’s a smart way to achieve the same result!

I’ll raise the bug on food4rhino as well.
