I am fairly new at working solely with Rhino. I have been tasked to create this drawing from a 3d model, but I cannot export it without these lines showing up. I was wondering if you could help me set up a pdf document that shows this 3d model I drew but without the highlighted lines … ideally it would only show the internal carvings.
Unfortunately I am not sure I can share the 3d model… but how could I hide the seam, is it during making the export from layout or is it on the make2d command?
One of those objects that you have marked looks like a simple sphere that has been cut.
If you SaveAs your file and delete all other objects, that would give us a lot of information that we don’t get from a picture…
At any rate:
I suppose that means that you are using the Make2D command and are exporting 2D geometry? If so, you can probably uncheck the Tangent edges and the Hidden lines option in that command.
It’s possible that you need to edit the Make2D output before exporting.
