I watched a couple of videos but I’d like some help as to how best attack this object.
In the file joined you’ll find a prismatic polysurface that represent the product without any rounds and a SubD that I cobbled together to show how I’d like the object to look like in the end.
Start with a wireframe, mesh the polysurface, face by face…?

Don’t know if I’m painting myself in the corner, we’ll see, but I’m extruding with the Gumball curves drawn in the reference shapes. Works great with the Gumball to scale and rotate edge loops.
It should go well to bridge the shapes, some parts will be more work, let’s see!
quad rememesh then to SubD

now… keep in mind this topology is pretty heavy and may be not super useful for further form development, but you may get away with lowering the face count a lot and get something useful.
make sure use edges = strict is enabled so that the faces are seen as hard boundaries.

That looks great, I’ll try that!
