Suddenly my model looks like this in shaded and wireframe mode:
It still looks fine in some of the other display modes (pen mode for example). How can I fix this? I think it happened while I was trying out the clipping plane. Deleting the clipping plane doesn’t fix it.

Does this only happen with that specific file?
Have you tried restarting the machine?

Hi! Thank you. Restarting the machine (again - I had tried that once) helped! Don’t know what happened, but my MacBook is very old and tired.
