HELP PLEASE What is the easiest way to render a final building in Rhino?

From an architecture student,

I am new to rendering my buildings from Rhino to a rendering program for perspective drawings.

  1. Similarly, my computer is NOT compatible with Lumion. 2) I am hoping to spend FREE- $20 a month maximum for a paid service 3) And I want the program to do most of the rendering → make minor adjustments in the photoshop for the final product.

I am currently trying to use TwinMotion(free version), but I am not sure if it will be easy to learn. 4) Can you please recommend an easy-to learn budget-friendly program that is realistic/professional for rendering?

I am hoping to make good renders for my in-progress portfolio

Try to use ENscape 3 for Rhino.
Add some landscape to your model.

Hi again
TwinMotion is very well regarded for Archi rendering, and is considered one of the simplest option. But I think it needs a reasonably good GPU to run properly.
You can also check Blender, It is Free, [take time to learn but well worth learning] it uses the Cycles render engine that Rhino also use [only a more advanced version]
and there is a very good add-on made by a Rhino Developer to import the rhino model into Blender directly Import3dm

I also vote for Enscape for Rhino,
It isnt free, but it is very easy to learn, easy to use and great results.

TwinMotion seems as easy as it gets and has a bridge to Rhino. It’s even easier than Keyshot. Like previously mentioned, there’s Enscape and Vray, which both are quite pricey and even worse, subscription-based.

Blender is free and can achieve very realistic, professional-looking renderings, but it’s not easy to learn. As everything in 3D, there’s a steep learning curve, especially when it comes to rendering. There’s not only the scene setup with lighting and environments, but UV-unwrapping, texturing, shaders, effects, post-processing, etc. It’s a very loaded topic.
Blender is also not integrated with Rhino so you need to export your models, which can be tedious, especially if you are iterating over a lot of designs.
Check “Blender ArchiViz” on YouTube to get an impression. It’s free, therefore you need to put in the time and that’s usually how it is. But you need to learn at least the basics either way.

Or just use Rhino Render assuming you are using Rhino 7. You then already have it since It’s integrated. You get to use all the materials and lights that Rhino alraedy provides. It is built on a modern path raytracer.

Hi again!
Oh interesting. thank you for your feedback again. I think I may try exploring Twinmotion then.

thank you,
Is rhino render used within the program itself or is it additional program, that I would have to download?
Similarly, does rhino render provide stuff such as people, cars, trees etc to add to the model? Or do we use some other program for that?

Unreal engine 5 is free and provides great quality for real-time realistic rendering. It’s primarily used for modern games but many people who do architectural projects use it due to its ability to render immediately and the huge library of terrain components including rocks, rivers/lakes, grass, trees, skies, real-time change of day and night etc. Check some YouTube videos to see what the UE5 is capable of.

Rhino Render comes with Rhino 7, no need to download it separately.

Assets you either create yourself or acquire through other means.
