Help...beginner question

Hello. I’m new to using rhino and cannot figure this out. Hoping to get some help here.

I have two curves that I want to make into a soild. The red curve is slightly larger than the purple curve. I used Loft to get the sides, and then Patch to get each of the surfaces. However, I cannot join them into a closed solid. Any advice on how I should approach this?

start with the main surfaces 1st, (build them larger than you need )

then trim the shape of the object

then connect the front and back to form the sides.

definitely check out the level 1 manual included with rhino at help>learn rhino>tutorials and samples>level 1 pdf

Pls give it a try with Sweep2, Extend, Patch and CreateSolid, fyi,
