hatching does not have option to choose hatch display color by “display color”.
can we add this?

When you select the hatch and turn to the Object tab on the Properties panel, you can change the “Display Color” to something and the hatch will be displayed in that color. In which way is this not working for you?

hatch panel cannot get from object’s display color. It looks for either layer color or parent color. help?

A hatch is an object of its own, it doesn’t have a parent to get a display color from.
At the end of your video: select the mesh object. The Properties panel will switch to the Hatch Properties tab. Here you can set the “Display Color” to be something other than by layer. You can also switch to the main Object tab in the Properties panel and change the display color there.
