We have the 4 little dots as a grab handle, which is ok, But , they are at the right corner of containers. Which is fine…. Unless you’re trying to dock to the right sidebar… and miss the blue square.
Now the container is floating in the right side partly off screen, [Yes the part with the 4 dots is off screen] What now?
At least on my Mac, the only way is to close all the panels in the container and start over.
[a possible crash alert at that point [I had many]]
But the point of the post is that the grab area shouldn’t be confined to just one corner .
Please.
The entire top area of the container can be used to grab to move. You don’t need to hit the 4 dots.
From a quick test, you can simply close the container and then call one of the panels that it contained to make that container appear again with its right side inside the Rhino UI.

Here I was not able to move the containers once the 4 dots were outside the screen, No other [visible] part of the container was gradable.
Also [and perhaps because] the WIP crashed at that point, and then it continued crashing every time I restarted it and opened a file.
[you should be able to see about 4 crash reports for that incident ]
Actually I was at that point thinking my file got corrupted, but happily it was not [tried different versions from DropBox and they all crashed]
at the end after computer restart [didn’t help]. The thing that got the WIP working again was simply to open a new empty doc, sort up the UI mess save another custom UI and then the work file opened as normal…
So maybe I couldn’t move the container from the half out corner because the WIP wanted to crash just then…
Yes I did that a few time, but it just repeated the same problem over again .
Hopefully it was just a weird glitch that went away.
