We are using Rhino7 and VRay. We design rail vehicles. To handle our modells we are working with blocks for the individual components. If we render at the end we have always problems with the materials that are used in the blocks. In the block for example we use stainless steel, save and import in the main assembly. Stainless steel is used in many blocks … always the one same saved material. Then in rendering it looks not like stainless steel than black. In single modell everything is correct. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I don’t know whats the mistake. Is anybody there who has similar problems or can help?
I don’t know your problem. Is the material in the main assembly scene at the Asset Editor right working?
