Gumball single axis object snaps

Hi All,

Using the gumball, is there a way to snap to objects when moving along 1 axis? I’d like to move or stretch in a single axis and pick a point in space for it to align with without adding additional commands. I’ve seen this with other software and assume it’s available for rhino, but haven’t been able to locate it.

Hello- setting the gumball to ‘snappy’ dragging, rather than ‘smooth’ (default) should help - see the gumball’s context menu, or GumballSettings
