Gumball origin not sticky bug

The Gumball origin is not sticky for groups.

To retrace:
Create a box.
Select the box, double click the gumball center.
Move the origin to a corner of the box.
Unselect the box.
Select it again and the see Gumball origin at the corner.
As expected so far.

Copy the box to an arbitrary position.
Select the copy - the Gumball origin is copied as well, fine.

Now the bug:

Select both boxes and group them.
Select the group.
Double click the Gumball origin and set the origin to a corner.
Unselect the group.
Select the group.

The Gumball origin is not remembered.

Hi Charles - this is true - this limitation has always been in the gumball.

IMO now is the right time to overcome the limitation, or?

Hi Charles - from what I undertstand it is not possible in the current implementation of the Gumby. @Joshua_Kennedy will have a better idea what is possible. Certainly if would be lovely to have this work…

I think I know a way to fix this. The issue is open here and has been around for sometime. I’ll take a swing at it but no promises.
